I have been painting since I was a child with the variety of methods and mediums increasing as I grew up. Along the way I realized that my talent lies more profoundly in abstract painting.

My artistry cannot be duplicated because I paint what you see on the canvas as the images are seen in my mind’s eye while creating.

Since retiring and moving from North Dallas to Georgetown, I have been blessed with the opportunity to create and design full-time in the mediums of both painting and fiber art. It is a constant back and forth decision as to which form of art I prefer due to always being inspired to improve in both practices and because the passion seems to have no limit.

The first art exhibit that I was a part of in the downtown square of Georgetown was followed by sporadic sales, many compliments and consistent admiration for my work which has been very humbling. Currently I am a member of the Creative Art Society of Austin with my artwork having decorated the walls of Topaz Salon, Carver Library, Duo Works and several restaurants. Additionally, my artwork has been selected to be on display at The Public Library of Georgetown and The Museum of Georgetown in 2022 as well as Texas State University of Round Rock in 2021 and 2022. I have found it impossible not to be inspired by the abundance of creativity, culture, and nature that the Hill Country flourishes with. In 2023 I entered my art at the Texas State Fair in Dallas, and I was awarded second place in Creatively art and Designer Craftsmen (red ribbon), in 2024 honorable mention, and 2025 one yellow ribbon, third place!
