Artist Of The Month: Carolyn Rowland
-
Carolyn Rowland began her formal art training in 1997 at University of North Texas in Denton. . She was also an RN/Nurse Educator for over 30 years in the Dallas area. Both Texas natives, she and her husband love retirement in Sun City. Through the years she has created artwork in a variety of mediums but is currently working in watercolor and line and wash. Her pieces are colorful, light filled and often a little quirky. Carolyn’s hope is that her art finds the sacred in ordinary days.
Carol’s work will be shown through the month of January, so stop by whenever the gallery is open to view her beautiful art. Gallery hours are Thursday-Saturday 11-7, Sunday 1-5.
