WCAG arranges multiple exhibits and negotiates exhibits-of-opportunity in the community for its members. The Exhibit Chair and Coordinators manage the submission guidelines and process and are here to help you. Instructions for member participation in WCAG-facilitated exhibits are provided individually below. Exhibiting artists desiring an artist-statement/bio placard are expected to provide their own. If you would like to have an exhibit reception where the facility does not intend to provide one, it will be at the artist(s) expense. These are coordinated and scheduled directly with the facility.
The Guild has its own gallery through the Gallery Off-the-Square Co-op which is located inside The Framer's Gallery, 610 S. Main Street. where members can display and sell their work each month in rotation. The space is leased from WCAG Members who are interested in hanging work at The Framer's Gallery, click here for the guidelines.
Artists who make a sale at a WCAG-facilitated exhibit [not Framer's Gallery] are expected to make a donation of 10% of the sale price to the WCAG to support the organization, no other commissions will be paid, though most shows will ask for a nominal fee per show or per piece to hang. Check out our other gallery partnerships below.
We are seeking additional gallery partnerships for our member-artists to show their fabulous works; please contact exhibits@wcagtx.org if you have space at your place of business.
